Our Kids Ministry focuses on children up through the 5th grade, equipping them for their lifelong journey with Jesus by meeting them right where they are, guiding and encouraging them along the way. We provide a happy, safe, and secure environment where children can soak up God’s love for them as they learn and grow.  We build relationships not only with our children, but also with you, their families. We look at the discipleship of these kids as a partnership at FBC – we do this together. For us, it is an honor to be able to equip parents to help them guide and develop their children’s relationships with Christ.

It is our goal that each child KNOW Christ, not just know “about” Him. Our ministry includes well-established programs such as Sunday School, Children’s Church and VBS, but we are continually pursuing new ministries and new avenues of helping children and families grow in Christ.

We want to see our students develop a dynamic and intimate relationship with Jesus. Then, as this relationship changes us, we can’t help but to love and serve the world around us.  Each and every week, students have multiple opportunities to learn about God’s work throughout history and in us, as we look at His Word together.  God has tasked parents with making disciples of their children.  Our parent small groups equip parents as they seek to fulfill this role.  We teach the importance of worship and fellowship and missions.

At FBC Cleveland, we want to do all that we can to build a foundation that students will carry with them the rest of their lives.

Faith in Christ is a life journey.  Parents do not have to travel the path alone.  We believe it is the role of the parents to lead their children to grow spiritually.  As your church family, FBCC is committed to partner with you along the milestone journey.  We partner with families through encouraging, equipping, and empowering parents in their spiritual leadership role.  And we do this through small group studies and by offering multiple resources for parents to intentionally engage in the lives of those God has entrusted to them.

Senior Adults

Our Senior Adult Ministry is not a place to sit back and relax, but a place to get plugged in and serve!  Our senior adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church.  Our senior adults enjoy Bible studies, fellowships, trips and opportunities of service in our church and community.  We seek to continuously glorify God as we reach out and connect with those in need in the Cleveland area, to enhance their lives, encourage them to grow in the Lord, and to challenge them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.

In today’s culture, it’s increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and lives.  The FBCC Men’s Ministry seeks to develop men for Christian living to make an eternal impact for this generation and those to come. We biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in their places of business. We accomplish this mission through discipleship classes and small groups, mentoring, retreats and special events.

The Women’s Ministry at FBCC nurtures the women of our church and our community as they come to faith, Christian maturity and service through interaction with God, His Word and one another. Bible studies, programs and events will inspire your heart, enrich your life and strengthen your relationships—especially your relationship with the Lord.

Worship at FBCC is more than music, more than a gathering, more than brief moments together in a service. Worship is a lifestyle that is lived out in spirit and truth with every opportunity presented.  We are incredibly blessed to have an awesome worship ministry here at FBCC. From our littlest ones to preteens, students and adults, we weave the true meaning of worship in every area.

There are opportunities for everyone in the Worship Ministry of FBCC.  If you are a musician, we can use your gifts as a member of the praise team.  We also have incredible opportunities for your children and students.

Prayer is a door that allows us to know the heart of God and gives us the strength to courageously and faithfully keep trusting Him despite our circumstances.  FBCC comes together as a family to pray every Wednesday evening at 6pm.
